Google Buzz joins the social clutter

I could be missing something, but it seems to me that Google Buzz is an exact copy of Twitter – except shown through Gmail, with google contacts only. This is a natural addition to the Google family, but it almost makes me wish that Twitter didn't exist, since it is not in my Gmail interface. I probably will not use either, but will find a syndicate service to make sure that the ever growing Social Media channel is fully utilized… It's getting messy out there.
